JOB DESCRIPTION:

Are you passionate about theatre and enjoy teaching a variety of ages? If so, Shadbolt in your Community is looking for qualified and experienced Contract Drama/Acting Instructors to plan, organize and facilitate drama/acting classes for ages 4-16 (separated by age group).

Qualifications include completion of, or enrollment in, a university or college level drama program. Relevant experience will also be considered. You must have a strong teaching background and experience teaching drama to a variety of age groups from children to teens. High Five® is considered an asset. Successful candidates must have Emergency Level First Aid- CPR C or be willing to obtain certification prior to the start of the program.

We are currently hiring for our regular programs. This position could work at any site within the City of Burnaby.

We are looking for availability for Camp special guest spots, on weekdays, Afterschool and possible weekends; please note these are contract positions, and hours are based on registration.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Shadbolt in your Community is looking for qualified and experienced Contract Drama/Acting Instructors to plan, organize and facilitate drama/acting classes for ages 4-16 (separated by age group). Duties include providing class outlines and curriculum goals that are appropriate for the age groups.
