Stephan G. Stephansson Artist Residency Award – Deadline: 2025/03/01

Submissions are open for the 2025 Stephan G. Stephansson Artist Residency Award, which takes place at Historic Markerville's Buttermaker's House.

Artists with Icelandic Heritage or artists working on projects relating to, or inspired by Iceland, its people, culture, and/or environment are eligible to apply. The award recognizes the literary importance of Icelandic poet Stephan G. Stephansson and his role in furthering the arts in both Iceland and Canada. With financial support from the INLNA, six weeks of residency time will be made available for 1-3 artists per year based on their eligibility. Number of awards and the length of the stay will be determined based on the applications received.
