FireWorks Short Play Festival – DEADLINE: 2026/01/16

Firehall Theatre in Niagara Falls, Ontario, is pleased to be hosting the first FireWorks Short Play Festival July 10-12, 2026. Submissions are now open to original Canadian plays of approximately ten minutes.

As each company will need to be able to come to Niagara Falls Ontario for tech rehearsal and performance, preference will be given to playwrights originating in southern Ontario. Submissions are juried and this year we anticipate accepting eight plays for the final Festival.

Final submission deadline is January 16, 2026. No scripts will be accepted after this date.
