“All the little animals that I have eaten”
Original text: Karen Hines
French Translation: Mishka Lavigne
Synopsis
Zoë is a waitress in the ultramodern bistro of a condo tower for professional women. Here, the corridors are haunted by the ghosts of suicide writers. Tonight, Zoë is working alone, the Other Waitress not having shown up. It’s the worst shift of his life. On the terrace parades a series of crazy characters: unscrupulous claims experts, shameless literary plagiarists and other women of high society. Suddenly, the animals start talking … All the little animals that I devoured is a poetic-allegorical black comedy which offers a modern commentary on neo-liberalism, feminism, art, the consumer society, precariousness and hope.
