THE CHRISTMAS TREE
by Norm Foster
Directed by Marcia Kash
24 Actors. 12 Shows. 1 Script. Endless Laughs.
A tree lot. Christmas Eve. One man. One woman. One tree.
Who should get the tree? Each gives reasons why they are the most deserving and each seems unaffected by the other one’s dilemma! It’s a story filled with laughs, heartache, and good old-fashioned Holiday spirit.
We have teamed up with restaurants across the Region to provide unique and safe spaces for food and entertainment.
Tickets are being sold for tables of two and four and all include dinner.
The Foster Festival is Bringing Humour and Christmas Cheer to Small Audiences Across Niagara.
12 Shows. Great Food. Endless Laughs.
There’s never been a more important time to bring Norm Foster’s Humour with Heart to Niagara! The pandemic has robbed us all of the pleasure and experience of live theatre. Physical distancing not only affected the audience, but also the livelihood of our actors and our staff behind the scenes. As a result, The Foster Festival has quickly pivoted by offering staged readings of Norm Foster’s one-act play, The Christmas Tree, at restaurants across the region. Each ticket includes lunch or dinner.
Top of mind is the safety of you, the actors and restaurant staff.
- Each Artist Couple live in the same household so they don’t require physical distancing or masks.
- Restaurants are spacing tables for 2 and 4 people. Seating is limited.
- The Foster Festival and all our partner restaurants are following industry leading standards around health and safety.
